From the 10 Freeway

Exit at Indian Hill Blvd. Proceed north on Indian Hill. Continue for about a mile. Turn right on to First Street. Continue east on First Street for about 7/10 of a mile. You will pass the Metrolink Parking Lot on the right. The Administrative Center is just east of the lot.

From the 210 Freeway

Exit at Towne Avenue. Proceed south on Towne for about a mile. Turn left onto Foothill Blvd and continue for about a mile. Turn right onto Indian Hill Blvd and continue for about a mile. Turn left onto First Street. Continue east on First Street for about 7/10 of a mile. You will pass the Metrolink Parking Lot on the right. The Administrative Center is just east of the lot.

The Film Festival for Folk With Short Attention Spans

If you need a brief respite before the graduation festivities next weekend, be sure to hit the First Annual 5 Second Film Festival at the Laemmle Theatre in Claremont on Thursday, May 14th, at 7:00.

In the grand tradition of Short Music for Short People, the 5 Second Film Festival will feature films that are....short.

Really short.

The event is sponsored by Claremont Community College, the only college in California to have a joint degree program with Sierra Madre Community College in Marine Textile Manufacture.


In addition to the eponymous 5 second films, the festival will include short films (under 10 minutes) as well as the computer animated feature, "Big Buck Bunny":

Everyone has their 15 minutes of fame.

But only in Claremont do you get to experience 5 seconds of it.
