The City Council is holding a Budget Workshop on the morning of January 31. They are inviting the public to join in. Although budgets can be pretty dry stuff, you really have to go back to the early 1990's to find a time when the city's financial picture looked as potentially dim as it does right now. So it's in your own best interest to come on out and educate yourself on what we're facing:
Community Invited to Council Budget Workshop
With economic concerns a reality, the City of Claremont fiscal year 2009-10 operating budget will be impacted significantly. The public is invited to attend a special City Council Budget Workshop to discuss the City's budget issues. This workshop will be held Saturday, January 31, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the Hughes Community Center in the Padua Room. For more information, please call City Hall at (909) 399-5460.
