Goings On

David Allen has a column in today's Daily Bulletin about his trip to the newly opened Laemmle Claremont 5 Theatre. Allen noticed something we also noticed yesterday - it's really hard to find.

Because construction on the rest of the Village West Expansion is still ongoing, you have to wend your way through a narrow walk from Oberlin to find the entrance. The official address is 450 W. 2nd St., but 2nd is closed off from the construction, hence the Oberlin approach.

Allen also mentioned that the theatre isn't strictly an art house and that the mix of mainstream Hollywood movies and art films will depend on ticket sales.
