Goddess of Pomona has had a makeover and sports a new banner. Goddess obviously has a much better designer on retainer than we here at the Insider. We're kidding - Goddess reports that designer and Lincoln Park resident Neil Cannone came up with the new banner at no charge.
Goddess is also the source of a lot of good information about the happenings in Pomona's lively arts, of which there are many. Take look when you get a chance:
The Claremont Conservative, the brainchild of Claremont McKenna College freshman Charles Johnson, has also undergone a renovation, complete with a new banner featuring some of the famous people who've been associated with CMC: Harry Jaffa, Kerri Dunn, and others.
Johnson has also added a couple fellow student writers to his blog. Aditya Bindal, Daniel Daleiden, and Daniel O'Toole have joined the Conservative as new contributors.

Daily Bulletin columnist David Allen wrapped up his reading of Moby Dick and reports on that. Allen writes that he found the novel to be a great read. He promises a more in-depth report in a future column, and we look forward to reading that. We'll let you know when it's published.
