Harvey Mudd College

Now that the excitement of the June election is safely behind us, we return to our series of snapshots of the finances of each of the educational institutions in Claremont. Today we focus on Harvey Mudd College, the one whose campus looks like an electron micrograph of a computer chip.

The dollar amounts appearing in this post are taken from the college's 2005 IRS form 990. That is the most recent return available to us and covers the time from July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005. In that time, there has been some staff turnover (for example, a new president).

An earlier post makes some general comments about these data. Earlier posts of data for Pomona College may be found here, Scripps College here, and Claremont McKenna College here.

Remember, all numbers reflect the data as of June 30, 2005. By request, we have added tuition and room/board to our snapshot. We will update the prior posts with these numbers.
