The Claremont City Council will hold a special affordable housing meeting this Friday, June 5, at 6pm in the council chambers at 225 W. 2nd St.
According to the meeting agenda, city staff is seeking direction from the council regarding the housing mix in the negotiating agreement with Jamboree Housing Corp. for the 75-unit complex at 111 S. College Ave.. Currently, the proposal calls for 45 family units and 30 senior units. The council will discuss an option for 39 senior units and 36 family units.
