The Daily Bulletin's Wes Woods II reports today that two more people have thrown their hats into the ring for Claremont's March, 2009, City Council election:
Michael John Keenan, who runs a window-cleaning business, and registered nurse Pam Forsyth picked up nomination papers Monday, said City Clerk Lynne Fryman.
Keenan unsuccessfully ran for City Council in 2005 and 2007.
Keenan and Forsyth join incumbent Councilman Corey Calaycay, former city Finance Director Larry Schroeder, and former Assistant City Manager Bridget Healy in the race. Calaycay, Schroeder and Healy picked up nomination papers Nov. 10, the first day papers were available.
