Tonight's regularly scheduled Claremont City Council meeting has been cancelled.
Apparently, at least two, and possibly as many as four (can they do that without agendizing it as a meeting?), councilmembers are in Washington, D.C., for the National League of Cities conference.
The next meeting will be in two weeks on Tuesday, March 25th, when the council will conduct its yearly reorganization, selecting a new mayor (very likely Queen Ellen Taylor) and mayor pro tem.
At least with no official meeting there can't be any mischief, though they'll be plenty to go around at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
