JOB NEWS

Does the economic downturn have you looking for work? The City of Claremont's website says that the U.S. Census Bureau is looking for a few good women and men:

If you or someone you know is looking for a job, the Census Bureau is hiring. To schedule an appointment to take the test and apply for a job, call 1-866-861-2010.

Claremont's site also has a blurb about a job fair Congressman David Dreier will host in Rancho Cucamonga on April 8th.

Congressman Dreier to Host "Road to Employment" Job Fair

In order to connect employers and those seeking work, Congressman David Dreier will be hosting a "Road to Employment" job fair on Wednesday, April 8 from 9a.m. to 1p.m. at the Goldy Lewis Community Center, located in Rancho Cucamonga. This event will be a useful opportunity for workers in the 26th district to find out what opportunities may be out there, and make the contacts they need to get working again. In the meantime, there are a number of local resources available to those looking for employment openings, vocational training and other assistance. His office stands ready to assist workers in contacting the right agencies to get the help they need in their job searches.
